The Penang Bridge International Marathon is a challenging and unique experience for all runners. Runners from over 65 countries flock to this international event. The Penang Bridge International Marathon is held on the iconic bridge (first bridge) that connects Penang Island to Penang mainland and it is the largest mass participation sport in Penang. 

Known as the “Pearl of the Orient” Penang has a modern face while retaining its traditional and old world charm. The capital of Georgetown is listed as a World Cultural Heritage site. Penang is regarded as the food capital of Malaysia. A perfect blend of East and West, Penang embraces modern life while maintaining its culture and heritage.
