Maui Oceanfront Marathon

The Maui Oceanfront Marathon starts in Wailea and runs along the oceanfront to Kamehameha Iki Park, near the Banyan Tree, in Old Lahaina Town. The Half Marathon is out and back, starting in Lahaina. Or run the 15km from Papalaua Beach, the 10km from Kamehameha Iki Park or the 5km from Lone Palm Point. All events finish at Kamehameha Iki Park. 

The Marathon runs north from Wailea through Kihei and along some of the prettiest beaches in the world and ends in Old Lahaina Town. See whales and surfers on your left side (January is prime whale viewing season on Maui) and the 10,000' Haleakala Volcano and the green West Maui Mountains on your right side.
